Re: 25'10" Economy motorsailer

David:
I've not seen or built either, but it would seem that the Fast
Motorsailer (see Boats with An Open Mind) would be a better all
around
craft, and is a much more finished design (although about four feet
shorter). If he were doing it now, I'm sure Bolger would have a
removable rudder rather than an oar for steering under sail, and
probably a different rig and leeboard arrangement. It is a handsome
craft, though....

I am thinking about building the 25'10" Economy Motorsailer that
appeared in The Folding Schooner. I believe one was built in Montana in
1990. Has anyone built this boat? Does anyone have any thoughts about
this boat? Does anyone know how the boat behaves and handles? Does
anyone know about the Montana boat?
Any information about the boat will be helpful.
