Small boat Rendezvous
Hi,
This is for any Bolgeristas (and others) within striking distance of
the San Juan Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands -- to date, this
means as far east as Alberta and as far south as
California!
We have two small boat rendezvous coming up, and everyone is invited.
On May 25 to 27, we will gather at Montague Harbour on Galiano
Island. Amenities include campsites, moorings, dock space (limited,
but it should be available this early in the year) and a boat
launch. Galiano Island has excellent ferry service and lots of bed
& breakfast establishments.
On July 13 to 16, the place to be is Sucia State Park in the San
Juan Islands. Sucia Island is almost the northernmost island of the
group, and offers camping, hiking trails, moorings and some dock
space. Since there is no ferry service, everyone arrives by boat.
