Re: [bolger] re;a smaller Chebacco?

I have also received some from March today. By now it's safe
to assume that everybody has. I doubt anyone's doing it deliberately.

I've noticed comments without referents too, but also that
the RE: just came to me before the original post, and that
in a day or so I always got that.

Some messages got "stuck" in the egroup for unknown reasons. I released a
few then decided to kill the rest.

For the sake of continuity my brief comment is that I fully agree with
Peter. However, I will add that beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
Thus the chosen name for my June Bug is Bee-Held (there's more to the story,
but we won't go there now). My point is that it's pretty hard not to fall in
love with what you build. Especially if she performs like magic. So, what
you want to do with your boat and where you want to sail it are the critical
questions.

The other part of my message is in the form of question(s). When I got to
the end of Peter's typically astute and prosaic missive I was shocked to
learn that he was still facing a frozen St. Lawrence. Then noticed his
message was date March 18!! Then I noticed that the last 9 Bolger messages I
downloaded this morning are also dated for March. Is this archival
regurgitation or are folks sending repeats to address current threads?

While I'm at it, why do I sometime see "Re:..." for threads I never saw
start. I'm an obsessive follower of this list (waded through 200 messages
last night) so am surprised when these things get by me. But then again
stranger things have happened.

jeb, on the sunny shores of Fundy, feeling pangs of guilt as I finish Gypsy
while June Bug sits out in the weather waiting for me.
