Aquatek is only rated at BS 6566 and Hyrotek is BS 1088 according to
West Wind.

Marine Meranti (Phillipine Mahogany) Brand "Aqua-tek", BS 6566

Marine Meranti (Phillipine Mahogany) Brand "Hydro-Tek", BS 1088

Both are much the same but BS 6566 is not Lloyd's certified I think.

I think I remember hearing somewhere that Hydrotech plywood is not
actually BS 1088 certified. I searched our archive here and the web,
both with no success.

Does anyone know the straight dope?

Paul
