Hi Bruce,

Just about to post the letter to Mr. Bolger. Shame there is no way to
purchase the plans online.

Thanks for the link to the isometric rendering. Very good. What is
Freeship?

Cheers,

Paul.
Go ahead and buy the plans from Bolger directly. There is an
excellent chance it will save you some mistakes (grief, time and
money) certainly exceeding the cost of the plans.

I also highly recommend making a cardboard, scissors and tape model of the hull.

Have you seen my Freeship isometric rendering of Martha Jane?

Thanks Krissie,

I think I will write to Mr Bolger.

Actually, the plans I bought from CSB are of terrible quality. Not
blueprints at all, but photocopies on plain paper and looked like
copies of copies of copies!

Some of the offsets are almost impossible to read. It would be very
easy to make a costly mistake trying to work from them.

Not sure if that's a 6, or an 8? etc etc.

Might just have to buy a whole new set of plans from the man himself!

Cheers,

Paul.
Hey Paul your best bet would be to send a note to Mr
Bolder at the address below or send him a fax and ask
him.

Mr. Philip C. Bolger, P.O. Box 1209, Gloucester, MA,
01930, Fax: (978) 282-1349

If you got them from CSB when they were in Portland,OR
you may get a deal.

But if you got them from the guy in BC Canada well you
may not be lucky.

From reading a number of posts about CSB I will buy my
plans from PCB that way I'm dealing with the designer
first hand.

Blessings Krissie

Hi Guys,

Just a few quick questions regarding the Martha Jane.

1. Is this design capable of both blue water & river cruising?

2. How spacious is the cabin and what is the sitting head height? ie;
cabin sole to deck. I am 6ft 2" so need a bit of headroom.

3. Where can I get the plan upgrades ? (I already bought the original
plans from Common Sense Boats many years ago. Do I need to buy the
plans afresh or can I just purchase a couple of extra blueprints/sheets?

But where do I get them? Can't find anywhere on the Net that has MJ
upgrade plans.

Cheers,

Paul.
