Re: Glassing LSME

D:

If you are interested in a good deal on glass check out the supply
listing at www.boatdesigns.com.

They are in Hayden Lake, ID. I have purchased from them before
and they offer good service, and good tech information as the
people that work their build boats as well.

The sell the glass, as well as System Three Resins products.
Might be worth a look for you. Dollar for dollar they are the best
deal around.

I'm wondering the internet in search of a good deal on glass and I've
had the following notion.

2oz on the topsides for a nice weather tight finish, 6 or 8 oz on
the bottom for beachings.

It's quite common to do a mixed lay up on a surf board (light on the
bottom where it's just water, heavy on the deck and extra heavy where
you stand,) and I can think of any reason it's a bad idea for LSME.
But just cause I can't think of it doesn't mean it's not so.

Thoughts from those of you who've glassed more boats?
