Mark if you copy the part of the manual that is in the
tongue that Manimo is more versed in that would also
cut down on the cost of printing and shipping as well.

Well, the Rio de la Plata river is very shallow near San Isidro :) but in
this case, it was a small plastic bag sucked at the water inlet, it was at
night, and I didn t realized until it was late. I will try your wire advice,

I contact local Honda, and they don t sell the "shop manual". On the
internet, the international Honda site, redirects to helminc.com that sells
it for about u$s 37. OK. But the international shipping and handling outside
USA and Canada is about u$s 150!!!! :(

It seems the shipping is made by Mr. Honda himself from Japan... :)

Maximo,

Have you ran in shallow water lately? I have a Honda 8HP on one of mt boats. On several occasions I noticed that no water was coming out of the indicator hole. I pulled off the rubber hose and found that it was totally blocked. I cleaned it out with a piece of cloths hanger wire (always have at least one wire coat hanger aboard, just like always having duct tape!) After I slipped the hose back on everything was fine. All three times this happened the blockage was just in the hose, not in the engine passages. Check this before you go to the trouble of accessing the impeller. It's too bad impellers on outboards aren't as easy to replace as on diesels.

Yes it sounds like you ate a waterpump and the manuals
you talked about are both good. But if you can get a
Honda's repair manual they are better.

Are you getting any outflow of water from the pump? If not, your

Hello all: I am having some problems with my '80s Honda 10 hp b100 (a
plastic bag in the water inlet at night that I didn t realized until it was
late, perhaps the water pump rotor... or something else).

Do you know SELOC or Clymer repair manuals? Are they good? Wich one do you
recomend?

Thanks, regards, Máximo.
