All,
I have posted some pictures to the egroup server of this years
Oklahoma/Texas Messabout.
I did not take details, so if anyone has details on these,
please email me (not to the group since I don't check often)
and I will update the descriptions.
On a whole, I only spent a short afternoon there, but had
a good time. The weather was plenty, too much to take
out many of the boats. Phil, who built the beautiful JuneBug,
happily took me out. It sailed nicely - my first time in a
hard-chined boat. However, the wind and the waves limited
our travels.
Although not a large turnout, there was enough boats and owners
to fill an afternoon pleasantly. All the people I met were genuine
and very friendly. I can hardly wait until next years event, and
hope that I can bring more than a simple model!
Boat 01 is a Michalak Frolic 2
Boat 02 is a Michalak AF2 (Entropy)
Boat 03 is a Bolger Junebug
Boat 04 is a Bolger Micro (stretched)
Happy Sailing!
