FWIW, the Anhinga design was kind of experimental, though I have built
a model and believe that without fiberglass, and with an air powered
nailer, you could build a functional Anhinga very quickly and cheaply,
in a matter of a few days.

I had a similar situation. I sent away to Bolger & Friends to get info on
getting the Anhinga plans back at the end of May. I still haven't heard
back. All of my information was typed, so there was no chance of
illegibility.
I decided to go with a Michalak design instead. I'm still hoping for
Anhinga for my next boat (but I'll probably have to order the plans from
Dynamite).

The Bantam is a great design which I too am interested in building.

I am very interested in this boat and have mailed a letter to Bolger
and Friends about it but have not received a reply. Does anyone know
where these plans can be obtained?
