Re: [bolger] Bobcat speed
Agreed. Speed wouldnt play a reason for building this vessel, but I just thought that maybe due to its light weight, maybe it'd cheat physics and get a little more speed than the mathematical equation would indicate. I would venture to guess that in lighter air, she'd have a better chance of keeping up (just in case one of the bigger production guys wanted to try to bully her <wink>). I just cant get over Mr. Higgins' stretched out version in SCA this month.

Does anyone know if any of the smaller, lighter stitch and glue
sailboats break the mathematic equation for the max speed calculation.
Just curious, but it'd be nice to be able to keep up with some of
those 20-23 foot factory guys and watch their faces?

sailboats break the mathematic equation for the max speed calculation.
Just curious, but it'd be nice to be able to keep up with some of
those 20-23 foot factory guys and watch their faces?
