Micro triangular chines?

Will be starting hull construction on my micro within 2 weeks or so, and have a
thought I'd like some feedback on (yes, another loony idea from Glen).

Am considering going with a triangular piece of wood for the chine instead of
the 3/4" x 1" specified, and then after bottom is glued/nailed on, glassing the
inside as well as the outside of the chine. Should add some strength, and be
easier to clean....

Wadda think?
