Re: [bolger] Slicer in FreeShip ?

Hi Bruce,

THANK YOU for modeling Slicer in FreeShip!

Slicer weighs 800 pounds empty so I guess it is a pretty big boat. Not
very wide of course, but its length certainly gives it plenty of
capacity. It sure looks like an efficient hull with those long lines
and curves.

I want to put a small inboard diesel in it. Any chance you might send
me your .fbm file so I can play around with the design myself?

:)

Slicer is really a big boat. I was surprised to see how much
freeboard she has, and indeed she is about as substantial as a Topaz
without the cabin. 29ft x 5'2" compared with Topaz at 31ft x 6'0"

Uh ... okay Harry you got me, that's exactly what I meant. Was I that
transparent?

:)

The thing is, Bruce is always so generous with his FreeShip models that
I hate to mention such a task to him directly. I don't want him to
feel obligated. Then again if he WANTS to put Slicer into FreeShip I
would be the last one to object (hint hint)!

In reality I should learn how to create new FreeShip models from
cartoons and line drawings myself. I've become pretty good at the
basics of the software, but Bruce is the real guru at this particular
task, and I trust his Bolger boat models much more than my own.

Been thinking about Slicer again (some Bolger boats just don't want to
let go of me) and was wondering if anyone has put Slicer into FreeShip?
