Junk rig

sounds like you haven't joined the Junk Rig Association already.
You can find lots of information in the newsletters. The Hills and Tom
Colvin are only two of the many contributors. Recent experimentation was
done mainly in the field of batten design (hinged and sliding battens)
and batten material (wood, PVC-pipe, aluminum, carbon fiber, poltruded grp)
There is an newsletter articles index and you can order backnumbers.
The members list helps you to contact 400+ like minded boat
builders/sailors all over the world.

I can see no need in discussing junk rigs (in general) in this group. Both
designers have made their points clear in their writings.
If you have questions that you think I'll be able to answer: please contact
me offlist.

discussion but with new AS29 building pictures waiting to be scanned, just
made the third kyu and is now the proud grand father of a 5 days old girl

p.s.: Any other JRA members on this list?
