Thanks, Sam. That's good to know. I have installed water ballast as well as cast iron plates amidships, which seems to help. She's sweet to row. I think to be on the safe side, I will go ahead and complete installation of a turtle deck extending 4 ft. back from the bow, and spray guard. But, from what you're saying, it may not be necessary in most conditions with this design. Will take this puppy out at Sausalito pretty soon, putter around underneath the G.G. bridge. Will give a report on how she handles it. Dave
