Re:Pictures of existing Lions Paw 38 steel sharpie (w/link to pix)

Tough and relatively inexpensive for the size.British
canal narrowboats are built on the same principle -
overlapping bottoms to protect the sides, although not
with as much overlap.Does not seem to be as much
usable interior space as there might have been when
you look at the book though, although the headroom
looks more encouraging than I'd thought.Did PCB ever
market the plans?

Wow. Thanks very much.

Lion's Paw looks a heck of a lot like a big brother to Black Skimmer.
Here's some pictures of the Lions Paw (38' steel sharpie) resting in a
cow pasture it never left after being built a long time ago. I posted
these pix one other time then withdrew them and thought I'd post them
one more time for those who want to print the pix out. Human figures
are in the pix for size perspective. My overall impression, while
standing atop it, was that it was damn salty, tough, and ocean capable.
Maybe one will make it to the water one day!!!
