The value, at least to me, is these come with good quality hooks
attached to each side and at a price less than you could buy bulk
cord
and separate hooks at West Marine or other outlet...

ordered some a couple weeks ago and it seems to be good quality.
Alas,
they has some packages of six pieces for around $2, but they seem to
be out now.
