Nor does anyone else who has responded to this thread seem to possess any
qualifications in the field to boast about. It is interesting how otherwise
intelligent people seem to feel that their opinions of what the law is,
unsupported by training, experience, research or citations, is worthy of
note. I'm not versed in intellectual property law, but I expect that anyone
who is would find the comments made on this thread a source of hilarity or
dismay, or both. IMHO, this thread has only increased the sum of human
ignorance. The topic is not without interest or importance to builders,
aspiring designers, and even Bolger, no doubt, but I don't see how the
unsupported views of the unqualified advances the topic.
