Whoa, that's not getting by without notice! What design are you
building? Any photos to show us?

attended the mt dora antique boat show last week. about 300 beautiful
classics but no bolgers. One home built rascal and a coulple of Glen L
homebuilts. There were some nice old cleats at the flea market to dress
up my sneakeasy though. Leaving town however i spotted a light dory
outsidce a thrift shop.I"m sure it was a bolger, nicely finished with a
professional sliding seat rig installed. Just $425. Its at the Hospice
Hope Chest, 352 383 5171. if anybody is looking. One thing that goty my
attention however were the fiberglass classics in the show. There were
some very nice boats from the late fifties still in good shape
including some rather nice light cabin cruisers in the 20 foot range.
Apparently these are to be had cheaply all opver the country and look
to me like they would cruise easily with a small outboard, trail
easily and look classic while having little maintenance. maybe my next
boat. recyclimng some of these classics makes some sense compared to
sucking sawdust and working with epoxy. trhe bonus is they will
probably hold their value with a little tlc unlike the wooden boats i
have built, regards john ,whose bad boat habit has him presently
