Re: small clam skiff
Hi Paul,
Nicely done! I'll bet it's steady as a rock when casting.

Further to my earlier post, I finished the small clam skiff in time to
trailer it to South Carolina and use it for a month. In a word the
description of this boat is "WOW". As usual Bolgers design is flawless
and the functions are wonderful. It rows OK for a motor boat and with
the Honda 2 H.P. at half throttle it goes 4 mph. Any more is too
noisy. The boat handles as much chop and wave as you want in a small
boat with no concerns. I would like to try it with a larger motor and
will report on that when I get a chance. Overall the build, finishing
and using was another grand experience and a welcome addition to the
bolger fleet. It is a great workboat and a very good geriatric way to
be safe on the water. As usual it draws a crowd so beware and beaching
it at full speed and stepping out dry is a nice experience. I have
posted a few pictures in the photos section under small clam skiff for
those interested. Hopefully this is the link. regards Paul
