I've followed the Auriga story and some of the others waiting and I'm happy for you and hope you get to build her.
I'll have to subscribe to MAIB and get some back issues and wait for more details.
Good Luck!

There are very few cases where I enjoy being interrupted in the
middle of a Red Wings game, but PCB called during the second period
last night to tell us that we should expect a package today
containing 4 pencil sheets of detail on our cruiser, Auriga. In
addition, at least one sheet with the latest of "Perfect Skiff 2008"
that most of you have seen in MAIB. All of this is for our
agreement or mark-up of final changes. As we have seen nothing more
of Auriga than a couple 8.5 x 11 hand sketches of some rig and
interior ideas since the original proposal drawings 7 years ago, we
are anxious to see what has become of her.
We know that she gained some length, breadth, displacement, and sail
area. As of a couple months ago she was reported at 50'x12'x2' and
around 15 tons. She's supposed to have a new after deck arrangement
per the skiff writeup. We also had agreed on a retractable drive
concept unlike the catamaran drives of similar PB&F designs. The
interior is supposedly exactly as we laid out (let's hope that works
out, since we've never spent more than a week living aboard), and as
far as we know, she's still sporting a schooner rig that's actually
a tandem sloop. Construction is supposed to be the same style as
Tahiti.
I previously asked for something electronic to post on my website,
but I won't be suprised if that is not included. I would expect
something in MAIB one day, though. Regardless, I'm having great
difficulty concentrating at work today, and have decided to blow off
some nervous energy at the range this afternoon while waiting for
our reliably unpredictable mail service.
