Congrats again on hitting on your scheme - and your choice of sail
surely makes the picture better too!

Hi David - Sad story about Fern Ridge. I planned up until Thursday of
that week to be down at Fern Ridge. Then, others in the family had
problems, and my duty changed to looking after the granddaughter!
That's OK, I got to be a kid some, and then I did get over to Foster
Lake for a day sail a couple of days ago.
Birdwatcher 2 has been out 4 or 5 times this spring with emphasis on
evaluating a main of about 90 sq ft, that goes up without a yard. I
will get a whole write up on it soon, but in a couple of words, it
looks to have much utility, with and without the jib.
And what is the progress on your BW??

I didn't see Bob Larkin or his Birdwatcher2. Do you know if he's been
sailing it this year?

Since I painted June Bug that way I've never gotten a "square boat" comment from anyone.

That's a good colour contrast paint job on Myles' June Bug. Draws the
eye in nicely.

There is a custom, amounting almost to tradition, that true boat
speeds are obscene and must never be mentioned except in a
highly dressed up state. <Lindsay Lord>
