7 weeks till.....
Hello,
Well its only 7 weeks till the "Great Lakes Small Craft Symposium
3"
August 19, 2000 in Saginaw, Michigan. Open to all types of wooden
boats. From restorations to that just completed new Bolger design,
every one is welcome. This is a very focused event on boat
restoration and new construction. If you have built or restored a
boat or are planning to restore or build a boat, then this event is
for you! We also highly encourage model boat builders and outboard
collectors to attend. Our temporary boat ramp will be in place for
use. This year's event will host seminars and demonstrations in
Polysail making by Dave Gray, Scarfing and tool blade sharpening with
Bill Ryno from "Brightwood Boats" epoxy seminars by
"Gougeon Bros."
and much more. There are plenty of sandy beaches along with a
beautiful lake, so bring the kids and enjoy the day. Door prizes are
arriving daily and goody bags will be filled with all kinds of neat
stuff. For more info, view our web-site at:

with pictures of past events, a map and a view of this years raffle
boat, a Cajun Pirogue from "Uncle John's Country Store"
It is slated
to be painted this week and looks great! Someone will win a very nice
boat!
The last two events have been warm and sunny so bring canopies and/or
