foam-it-yourself products with his boat kits. Usually he just answers
questions with a brief "it's easy," but if you can get his
engineering instincts aroused, may he can supply a technical
reference.

Dear Group,
Maybe someone can direct me! I am doing research on flotation foam
used in commercial recreational boats less than 20ft, which are built
to comply with the level flotation requirment established by the
coast guard. I am looking for ANYTHING that will tell me about the
process of mixing pour and/or injectable foam, and the consequences
of improper mixing. I want written literature that will describe that
for me. I am also interested in the lifespan of both pour and
injectable foam. I am also interested in the lifespan of block foam.
Does anyone know where I can read about this stuff? Is there any
written literature on the subject? Any input or direction would be
greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Paul Shipp
