Re: [bolger] cost of a set of Bolger plans?
The price varies depending on several things including whim. Varying
between roughly $100 to $500 in line with size. It also seems that
the plans of the boat just as it is written up in Messing About in
Boats magazine are $50 cheaper than if you buy the same plans a year
or two later.
In any case, expect that the plans to be a tiny portion of the cost of
the boat. My rule of thumb is that the plans cost roughly half the
price of the boat cushions. Typically, the carefully following the
plans can save you many times over versus deviating from the plans.
Also, the stock plans sold (and supported) by instantboats.com are the cheapest.
