It's nice to hear your news, and good luck with the preparations for
next year. What is the URL for your site? I'd love to visit...

Very happy to hear of your progress towards a full recovery. Your boat
and your determination is an inspiration. Good luck over the winter
and hope you make it to Newfoundland next year. regards Paul McLellan

That is fantastic news. (Except for the work part.)
Following our crash aground, we have been able to repair Anemone.
Everything is well for us, looking for a job (Gaby is working now).
We have take an appartement over the post office of Les Méchins. We
were not able to find a place to live aboard for the winter.

So somes analysis after that:

The tendency to be too near the shore with a shoal draft boat,
it'seasy to forget the security of deep water to anchor...

The steel plate ballast have done is job, that save the boats. After
all, the repairs were more located in the leeboard case.

We were thinking of an all chain rode, but too late, it will be for
the next year...

With the repair, we reinforce the center of the boat, th settes were
not structural, and the bottom have bump just in the middle over a
rock, so some interior parts have suffer. We have add structural
reinforcement in those place.

A big boat like this i not easy to move, there is no travel lift
before 150 km, you need a crane at very hight cost.

It seems that this story will be part of the trip, so we do
everything to be prepare for the next summer, wishing to be in
newfoundland next year...

Thanks to evrybody for the support....

We will update our site soon...
