That is part of the advantages of model building, is that you can
build models relatively quickly. Try building a model both ways.

Still, the Micro design may be the single most commonly built design
of all Bolger designs. It has been tried as tested to be a workable
boat built exactly per plans. Any changes to the plans might improve
it, and might make it worse. But, hundreds of people have built
Micro exactly per plans and have been quite satisfied.

For what it is worth, the opinion "looks like crap" is interesting.
Lots of people that have ideas of what "boats are supposed to look
like" feel similar when they look at a Micro. Another perspective
on boats is not what the "look like" but how well does it function?
Does it sail well? While the Micro looks odd, I am really happy with
how useful and effective my Micro serves as a boat.
I am building a 1/12 model of Micro and it seems the hieght of bulkhead
A and B only come to the top level of the hull. I have measured 4-5
times and the measurements are correct. I attached the cabin roofing
and it looked like crap. I'm thinking of raising bulkhead A 1 foot and
bulkhead B 1 1/2 feet. What are everyone's thoughts on this idea and
has anyone done this in real life?
