Beachcruiser knowledge

Has anyone made a Beachcruiser? What are the problems if you replace
the tent with a solid cuddy? I prefer it's lines to the Micro. The
goal is a weekender for two amongst the Calandar islands and Casco
Bay in Portland, Maine.
