in my area those prices are horrid 1/4" is less than $2 per square foot (any
configuration, 6x24, 12x12 etc) any size. and the thinner you go from there
the lower the price.
Don't mean to start up the whole lexan trail again, but I found 0.093" Lexan
at
OSH over the weekend, at what seemed like pretty good prices. $2.99 for an
8" x
12", $4.99 for 10" x 14" (prices are based on my vague memory, subject to
reality). Ask for "window replacement non-breakable stuff"...
