She was hard to single hand and didn't get much use. Could be a real bargain. I always liked her and would bid if I was younger. She's a great shoal draft design.

Hi, Susanne. Glad you straightened the group out on that 35 footer. I didn't think it was a Mocassin, or 'glass. Can't remember whether I sent you this nice shot of the WW just launched, the night before we met you at Annapolis. We are all dying for a glimpse of the pictures you got of her sailing. Hope that you and Phil were as pleased with her as I was. I think she's blissfully comfortable and happy-making and usable and as far as I could tell easy to handle and excellent in the footing department. Wish we had not gotten involved with that damn motor and wasted the rest of the day. There was nothing wrong with the motor and there was no good reason to stop sailing just because we lost the chase boat. A fine afternoon missed, but so it goes. Micro gets a coat of paint and then I'm sailing again. Best to you both---Mason

It's Design #373 "Palo D'Agua", likely built in wood (plank on frame), likely by Brad Story. Dimensions are/should be 35'4"x8'6"x2'3"x12,500lbsx459 feet of sail. Deck wouldhave had glass on but not much glass elsewhere, unless someone did the 'unspeakable'. Is ATLAS BOATWORKS the original builder ? If so, we might want to look at some royalties as we know of no agreement... Good to see her.

The original Moccasin was built in Mallorca, I believe, and at launching had much more elegant paint and trim. Also was not fiberglass. I don't have the book with me to see if it's the same design. Bolger did a number of variations on a similar theme. There was one for Riddle of the Sands territory but that called for a chinese rig.

And she clearly is neither sloop nor cutter but sets a single-luff spinnaker. Note the main's sprit-boom. Plans show no bowsprit. There would have been is a double-berth to starboard of centerboard.
