I would say Samuel Clyde would be the closest Bolger equivalent hull.
Of course different cabin setup. Sam Clyde is essentially a 33'
Diablo, and would work well w' a big OB in place of the I/O stern
drive used in the prototype.

Essay and pics in BWAOM.
Doesn't she plane beautifully? And I love the no-nonsense looks. They
are selling plans for a few interesting designs -- the two garvies
catch my eye -- but Tysons are only allowed to build Bolger boats ;-]

In today's Duckworks on the free side:
http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/05/designs/farmer/elco26/free.htm
is Weston Farmer's small Elco.

Imagine this accomodation plan on a Tennesee or Minnesotta (maybee even
an Idaho) hull plan. Light, roomy and leaving a huge cockpit area.

De nada Sara,

You'll find we folks have more opinions than the 9th circuit court. Many of them of equal uselessness. Just mention what kind of boat you want to build and you'll find a willing support group. I caution you however not to ask for suggestions on which model is best unless you have an extremely large mailbox and an understanding ISP :)

I'm a bit overwhelmed at the responses I've gotten concerning my query. Thanks John,
eheins, Bruce, Nels, and David (Hope I didn't omit anyone). Your thoughful responses are
appreciated. I would also like to say thanks to Bill King for answering the
multitude of questions I threw at you. You were very kind even though I most likey was a
bit nosy ; ). I wish you success on your keel pouring.
I will take all the helpful input from our group, look more closely at the boat designs and
determine my best course of action.

Thanks again for all the great replies, I'll keep you posted and will most likely have more
questions to ask along the way.

Sara
That was a very nice piece on boat names to the Bgroup,
David. How true!
