Re: [bolger] Bantam explanation

See the two MAIB's V20N7 and V20N23 which describe the two 'prototype
builds' by Tom David and John Bartlett. Tom Davids turned out a bit
heavier than anticipated, so one of the upgrades was making the center
hull and two sponsons roughly 8 inches deeper to cause the boat to
float higher. The article also suggests that some other upgrades to
the plans, based on things learned from the building of the two
proto-type boats, were to be made at some point in the future. PB&F
have been so busy in the last few years, I don't know if the upgrades
actually have been made pen to paper yet. I suspect that is a
prospective builder were to approach PB&F for a build that the
upgrades would be inked.

That has happened several times before, when a customer buys a set of
plans and starts construction, PB&F get to thinking about it, and
shortly thereafter a revised set of plans arrives in the mail with
improvements.

Bantam, it seems, has changed since its first publication in MAIB in 1999. Can someone please explain the upgrades or changes Bolger has made?
