Not sure of that, but I have the 19thC booklet/plan reprint #5649 from DN Goodchild, a 16ft "punt" (lug rigged sharpie actually) by H. F. Hobden, that looks in many AS ways remarkably like Phil's Jinni...

PCB (PB&F) were certainly influenced by Blondie Hassler, witness their
design named after him. The Col. H.G. Hassler, plus the Micro
Navigator shows heavy influences.
