I am coming too, though via airplane and without a boat. I haven't
made plans of where to stay, hoping to stay where everybody is
socializing. Perhaps in Cape Ann Campground at 80 Atlantic Street?
Or, where?

We'll think of you guys this far away on September 19th.  Susanne

Hello Mike - yes that is an attractive idea. Not sure where you are writing from (NZ or Oz?), but I know of only two Bolger group members here in NZ. There may well be more..

Re the September gathering - I'd love to come too and wish everyone the best for the weekend, but it's a long haul from here. The Featherwind is coming a long really well. Hope the Group members will be able to give us all detailed coverage of the events.
Andrew.

Andrew,

I am in OZ.  There is a Bolger following here but not as big as US.

I will try to be there with my Black Skimmer Egret and Elegant Punt. Do you know if it's o.k. to anchor in Jones River?

I'm in for the weekend. My 5 and 3 year olds will be joining in on Saturday, probably arive at the Memorial around noon. All three of us are camping on Saturday night at the Cape Ann Campground. I'll participate alone Sunday and camp alone on Sunday night.

As I don't have a bolger boat that floats, ( yet - I do have design #139 as of yesterday) I'll bring my cheapy Renolds Al canoe, but would love to crew with anyone who'd have us Sat afternoon (and me alone Sunday).

I anchored in the Jones River once long years agone, with a group of wooden sailboats from Windward Yacht Yard in Newburyport.  --Mason

So when is it? I need to know an exact date.

It would be cool if we could do simultaneous memorials in other countries - allowing for time zones? Just an idea.
