See the new WoodenBoat 2010 Small Boats issue; it features both Black Skimmer and a trio of Chabaccos.
As a point of reference, I'm 5'11" and about 215#. Had a brief chance to sit in a Chebacco cabin at St. Michaels, some years ago. I found the sitting headroom was a bit tight. If I were to build one, I'd look at the Chebacco RD modification; RD = raised deck.

No expereince with a Black Skimmer, but from what I recall, there may not even be sitting headroom inside.

Bruce Hallman has the SBJ article on cruising the Black skimmer

http://www.hallman.org/bolger/BlackSkimmer/

Somewhere on this web site there has to be a picture of what you are
looking for on the Chebacco

These are two of my very favorite designs. At this point in my life especially Chebacco. Does anyone out there have pictures of the interior of the cabin that would show the scale, like a person inside. I'm not scared of small spaces, just want to know what I might be getting into.
