Don't know a great deal about this subject, but my F.S. bilge boards are not
vertical.

Shouldn't be a problem. Some of Phil Bolger's designs have this feature.
Isn't the Folding Schooner like this?
More important, though, is making sure that the CB/leeboard lines up nicely
fore and aft, without significant toe-in or toe-out.

Shouldn't be a problem. Some of Phil Bolger's designs have this feature.
