Re: work skiff update
I will pass, but thanks anyways. There really is not much space around the boat and will just wait for some over 50 degree days. Lots to do in the meanwhile. lighting, cleats, battery, stern lifting rings, center thwart although leaving it out and going with a couple of folding deck chairs is a viable option as well. More room for the fish or clams.

skiff looks good
You can always get one of those so-called mushroom heaters for $50 or so that uses a barbecue tank (10lb propane) which makes a huge difference even in drafty spaces like a garage. I worked with one of those for years in various houses and barns and garages. It's not exactly central heating but it will make epoxy and paint cure and keep your circulation going. . .
It's not pure propane anymore (so I've been told) so it burns kind of stinky if you're in a real enclosed space but they boot out a lot of heat even at idle. Especially if you use a fan behind it to push the heat where you want it. A tank will go for 24 hours or so on low.. that's a lot of gluing and sanding
They're not technically "legal" indoors at least in MA, but no problem in a garage or whatever
