Re: Crew Wanted: Virgin Islands to NY
You're where most of us boaters dream of being, so why the heck are you going back to NY?

Bluewater sailing experience is not required, but you should know the difference between a sheet and a halyard, or at least be willing to learn. Mostly you just have to take your turn keep watch, and put a reef in (or shake one out) now and then.

Hello Bolgeristas!
As some of you may recall, a few years back we bought a Catalina 38 and have been enjoying it since. In fact, right now I'm in St. Croix USVI helping Bob and Sheila Wise (of Loose Moose and Loose Moose II) build a mast after than helped me move the galley in my boat.
The other thing I'm doing is looking for a couple of hearty souls to help me bring INTEMPERANCE back to NY.
Our departure window is early/mid May and it should take about 2 weeks to make the passage. Bluewater sailing experience is not required, but you should know the difference between a sheet and a halyard, or at least be willing to learn. Mostly you just have to take your turn keep watch, and put a reef in (or shake one out) now and then.
