Fern Ridge Reservoir Spring Small Boat Messabout May 22

The Fern Ridge messabout, near Eugene, Oregon, is coming up! The main
messabout is May 22, at Shorelane Park (see map), starting around 11:00,
but several Coots usually arrive Friday and camp at Richardson Park Friday
and Saturday nights, or stay on their boats, either in a slip at
Richardson or anchored out in the lake.

Campsites at Richardson can be reserved online; slips at the marina can
only be rented in person, at the campground office, but the campground
managers are only on duty for a short period each day, something like 5:30
or 6:00 to 7:00. :o) This is terribly inconvenient for boater coming from
out of town. <sigh>
