Thanks for that neat video. I like your sense of humor. That last sea monster with the lasso scared me so much I peed my pants. Nobody told me something that dangerous was lurking out there.

Thanks for the laugh. I laughed till I cried then I went back later and did it again.

You might want to consider driving over to northwest florida to cruise some of our bays. Nice bays connected by protected waters with rivers and creeks you can poke around in. No rocks to worry about, just sand and muck. Things are nicest in the fall when the air has cooled a good bit but the water is still nice and warm.

I've posted an eleven minute movie of my (almost) two week trip sailing in the North Channel of Lake Huron on my Long Micro. It's more a travelogue than a film about the Long Micro, but I hope it will inspire builders and dreamers to do something fulfilling with their boats.

Loved your video. I am building a Micro in Bowning, New South Wales, Australia. Nearly finished but still need to build keel and mast. Would love to see your boats details especially your interior fitout and any of your own modifications to suit. I noticed what looked like fittings atop the mast partners to mount the mast. I was thinking of putting a big bolt through the mast partners on my boat but what you have done may be better. Yes, my micro is not quite standard but the actual hull is.

Canada looks to be a great cruising ground, lots of places to drop anchor.
