Oct2010 issue of Messing About in Boats
A brief note to describe how much I enjoyed reading the latest issue
of MAIB. The PB&F article about the death at sea in a gale aboard
Bolger designed the rowboat Hermes included details I had not heard
before, most notable that the evidence indicated that the water
ballast tanks were empty, which could easily explain the instability
during that storm.
I also always enjoy reading Hugh Ware's article _Beyond the Horizon_
and this month was no different. He mentions the collision of a whale
and sailboat caught on video, here is the URL
