Ditto from me. Schorpioen is a social cultural sailing fantasy
fiction book set in an alternate world that challenges all sorts of
preconceptions we take for granted about the human animal and our
social contracts.
Read it years ago -- I forgot who was selling it then. Well worth the effort. It is both creative and original and will stretch your thinking, even if there are parts you disagree with. The premise is still amusing, after all these many years . . .

Thanks for taking the bait.  There's a few fresh ones in the box, each for $25 sent in a padded envelope.
A Christmas present ?  Maybe not.  Of course there are exceptions, folks eager to explore this unusual society set in Africa in an alternate universe...

Right you are to do so, I remember it mentioned (perhaps in the context of the Parimutuel Schooner?) but it appears to be out of print and hard to find. Do you still have some available and, if so, for how much? Cheers, Matthew

Right you are to do so, I remember it mentioned (perhaps in the context of the Parimutuel Schooner?) but it appears to be out of print and hard to find. Do you still have some available and, if so, for how much? Cheers, Matthew

An order for a batch of them reminded me to remind folks of its existence.  Sure to aggravate many - it did me at times... - it is part of matters Phil Bolger.  Discussing it was part of our getting-to-know-each-other times.  Some test of each other's intellectual flexibility and sentiments.
