Edson Manually operated pump
Hi boat fans!
In my Revised Martha Jane

mizzen mast from the starboard to the port quarter (makes it easier
to sit and run the motor). In the cockpit buklhead, against the side
of the seat, I plan on installing the Edson Compact Flush Wall Mount
Pump #258 (pumps@...) - according to 1998 prices this was
about $380. It mounts inside the wall, and you stick this little
handle in to crank it at 18 gallons per minute. This way I can
manually pump while still at the helm if my luck should ever be so
sour as to need to. I will also use it to pump out the ballast while
on the water -figure this lets me know on a regular basis that the
thing is still working.
My question - has anyone installed one of these? How do you like it?
