Thanks John/Chris..

The Azores are more or less between Europe (Portugal) and North America, middle of the Atlantic ocean. 930 miles west of Lisbon, Portugal, 2400 miles east of the North American coast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azores). That's a bit more than a "day sail" to get it to the US!

I've seen a boat like this before, though this one looks just a bit different. The one I saw was an AMF Day sailor that was an O'Day DS knock-off. I was going to say that I thought the main looked wrong!

Pardon my non-bolger query, but there's a daysailer for sale near me that looks kind of interesting and I can't get any info. on it. I posted this same question on Duckworks and got zero responses. Maybe somebody here can help.

Check the photos section under "daysailer." IT's 20 feet long, and the title says it's an Azores which doesn't turn up on Google. The main sail is from an O'day 20 so don't let that lead you astray.... it's got kind of a nice bow and stern and a neat underhung rudder I like
