Emailed you Jim...

I am not going to build the Piroque due to building the skiff and that I have a sail that will fit the skiff, which is my biggest reason. What I want to do is build the Whalewatcher, but it will cost over $10k to do it and that is a budget buster for me, whereas building Chebacco is about half that amount. Altho, I may change my mind if you buy my piroque plan, then that will go into savings and maybe I build WW one sheet of plywood at a time.

That's awesome Bruce. I'm cutting cardstock! If I can't find plans... It can still be approximated...

I haven't actually seen plans for Bolger's Priogue design 451 (and
would love to see them), but being curious to understand the hull
shape and working from the diagram seen on the CSB website, I have
lofted that shape here. There are expanded panels (shown on a 6 inch
grid) of the bottom, side, deck and the three bulkheads, enough to do
a full size (or scale size) mock-up.

I have plans for the Whalewatcher, 16' Sailing Piroque, Shoebox and Common Sense Designs skiff. I am not going to build the Piroque due to building the skiff and that I have a sail that will fit the skiff, which is my biggest reason. I must ask - do you have Jinny #426 plans you'd part with too?

I have a copy of the plans that I bought from Bernie Wolford when he had Common Sense Designs in Portland, OR. I bought many Bolger plans from him. I never built the boat, but the plans are old, but still in good shape, contact me.  My friend Tony McGarry built one and I used to use that with my new girlfriend who has been my companion now for about 18yrs.

I am looking for an unused set of plans for Bolgers 16' sailing pirogue if anyone has a plan to sell. I seem to remember pricing for the plan from PB&F was $150, but I'm open to correction there. I'd prefer to buy new from PB&F but $150 is beyond my means presently.

Pirogue 16 #451 (done originally for Bernie Wolfard of CSD) is in the Bolger Design List database on the group webpagehttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/bolger/database?method=reportRows&tbl=3and still listed there at $35. Price from PB&F is now likely to be more, and may be much higher indeed, eg Jinny @ $150.
