No noise or smells. And a flush cover at the
bottom of the well for best flow and no water surges in the well to wet your
butt, with just a slot abaft the round shaft of the trolling motor necessary to
insert and lock the cover in place.

My recollection is that PCB objected to motor wells because they put exhaust gases/smells in the boat. This objection would not apply to electric motors.

Here is a screen grab of renderings I just completed of the Electric
Launch Lily. I find it fun to make these computer loftings of the
PB&F boat because it always gets me to see details that I had missed
previously. In this instance, I noticed the moving battery truck used
to adjust the trim of the boat.
