Squared-off Brick

In BWAOM, PCB speculates that running the bottom straight back from the
midpoint of the boat (i.e. no rocker aft) might actually help
performance by floating the boat even higher, despite the "bad" shape.
It would also use upsome of the leftover plywood.

Does anyone know if this has actually been tested on a Brick or
Tortoise, and how it turned out?

This might be the answer to the earlier Brick motor thread, but then
again you might as well build Skimmer.

Just wondering,

P.S. The bottom is on, trimmed, and chines rounded on the French JUIN
Bug. I'll tape the chines tomorrow, and do more if I can. Sorry, no
pics, as my scanner stayed in USA.
