This #681 is pretty exciting news.

I am guessing this is the proto-type Navy patrol boat "simple military
craft...(suitable for) the coast of Somalia" mentioned last year?

I have ordered by e-mailing Susanne and received one set of plans from PB&F last winter. You will have to wait a bit to get the first answer (try more than just once), but when the ball gets rolling you will get what you paid for.
Regarding Payson's: Dennis Hansen has taken over Dynamite's business on HHP's family request. I've ordered and received plans and books less then a couple of months ago. Dennis has PayPal, so paying for plans is easier now (especially from Italy).

Good Morning.
Typically your cancelled check would be an indication of funds deposited.  In my memory, no money has ever been deposited without the requested plans being sent afterwards.

The on-going boat-building project has taken just about the available attention.  #681 is the first design without Phil's input, for a federal client, and under construction with a non-boatbuilder crew in full public view.  Presence on the shop-floor for 6 days a week has been imperative to keep things on track.

Good thing that at long last after working on all major bits and pieces separately first she does indeed look like a boat.  For more, read the next MAIB (Messing About In Boats).

Thank you for your patience...

ahhh Mr. Hallman.....when a person tries to get more confirmation and assurance before committing a lot of money to the mails, im sorry it offends you or you somehow interpret it as something inappropriate.....getting info on how to inquire and getting info, or trying to, on who has actually recieved a response recently are two different things....any chance of a bit more understanding? oh, and your presumptions about pseudonyms are incorrect

im a bolger fan, please do not be so critical/suspicious

Not sure if this is an ongoing problem but I have heard that ordering
plans from Dynamite Payson's website has not had the reliable results
as in the past when he was still with us.

May be just a temporary thing with summer vacation and all that, or
there may have been a change in ownership of the company.

Michalak meanwhile, is still firing on all cylinders as far as I know.
After some queries about an older plan he took off his Internet list he
told one guy they were still available. Consider this - A sailing
houseboat scow that looks like a cross between an AS29 and a
Whalewatcher. He is not that enthused about the design but 8 members of
the discussion group were - and promptly ordered plans. As far away as
NZ and Oz

They are $40 when ordered in the USA and $50 elsewhere for 6 full
blueprint sheets and numbered building key. Jim is not too sure of the
ballast required in light of some other designs like Jessie Cooper and
Martha Jane, so has added that caveat that it may have to be increased.

This is just to inform that there are other options if one is unable to
obtain plans and interested in a Bolger design derivation.

Based on the modus operandi I cannot help but suspect that Mr.
fluffylamb is the same person previously trolling the group under
other pseudonyms, Lon Arneke, Dick Pensil, Sonny Ryder, Eric14850,
etc..

In any case, this topic of plans availability has already been asked
and answered, see the archive of prior messages.
it does not hurt in big block letters on the front of the envelope to write PLANS ORDER it has been several years since I ordered fro Phil most I have built I had gotten from Dynamite

Before I put a cheque in the mail Id like some assurance that there is some hope of success. Ive got no reply to a couple of faxes so far. Any tips appreciated. I know this is a recurring theme but its pretty important. Thanks a lot.
