Can anyone provide a web address for Sailrite? I know it's probably been
there, but I've missed it.

As of a year ago, Sailrite no longer sewed sails, but made only kits. And
their supply catalog is a great source of cloth, rope, rigging, and other
really neat stuff.

I've begun to think about sails for my Micro. I'm seriously considering the
Sailrite kits, and have seen a few messages on this board discussing their high
quality, ease of construction, etc. but was wondering if anyone has experience
with buying a Micro (or similar) sail custom made.
For example, cruising direct
http://www.cruisingdirect.com/Mainsail_Order_Form.htmoffers custom made sails
for $4.00 sq ft in Dacron, plus an additional cost of 8% for reef points.
Considering micro's dimemsions:
Main 119sqft + 2 reefs $552
Mizzen 34sqft no reefs $136
Total $688
This compared to the sailrite kits (394 main, 126 mizzen) totals $520, it might
make sense to just buy the sails custom made.
Can anyone recommend a sail maker that you would recommend I do business with if
I do decide to purchase my sails ready made? I checked Payson's web site, he
doesn't list a Micro sail, nor does common-sense-boats.
I apologize if this has been covered before.
Thanks in advance,
Glen Gibson
