Hi Jim,
It was a ZoneAlarm issue (no complaints otherwise about ZoneAlarm). The text string in question was part of a password, the broadcast of which it was blocking. Funny thing was this "ID protection" feature had been removed in the latest update, but the action was still ocurring. ZA customer service fixed it for me.
I'll try Dogpile again.

BK, tell us what the problem was so we'll know what to do if it happens to us. And second, try usingwww.dogpile.cominstead of google. It searches 7 or 8 search engines at once.   Jim
