Re: A copy of Folding Schooner available
Curious as to how the Nymph sails. I might want to rig mine like that
someday. Is it tender?

I ran across a great resource for finding used books:
http://www.bibliofind.com/
Put in a "Folding Schooner" title search and got 3 hits. None matched your
$20 find -- they ranged from $40-60.
They are a clearing house for used book stores, many of them apparently
quite small. I found a copy of one of Payson's books in a small shop in
Texas. I believe you can buy either through bibliofind or directly from
the store. I contacted the store directly using a combination of Email &
telephone.

Persistance pays...I found The Folding Schooner at a used bookstore
in Walnut Creek, CA last year in great shape for about $20.00. I
have
collected 30 Odd Boats and Different Boats over the last 15 years.
As well as many others...don't even ask about the boat plans I've
salted away... Its possible to find out-of-print Bolger boats, but
I've heard it asked before...why no reprints? In these days of small
printings and high-tech shops able to do cheap (inexpensive?)
printing/binding it would seem to satisfy a need.

Does anyone have top dollar to buy the book below?
I asked Amazon.Com to find this for me, and I bought it elsewhere first (a
LONG time ago).
Still, this book is *very* hard to get, and if you've got the cash,
and really want the book, you might wish to do this.
If you want the book, let me know, and I'll hook you up with Amazon.
